Privacy Policy for Picky Pets

SAK STUDIOS ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Picky Pets (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you play the Game, and how it is used.
By downloading or playing Picky Pets, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Picky Pets does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location in order to play. We do not operate any server or backend that stores player data.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The Game saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, using Android's standard local storage (SharedPreferences). This includes:
Your best score and current game session score
Your sound and music on/off preferences
This information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the Game.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Picky Pets is a free game supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC, to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads within the Game.
To serve ads, Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain technical information from your device, which may include:
Advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID)
IP address and general (non-precise) location derived from it
Device information (device type, operating system version, language)
App usage and interaction data related to ads (impressions, clicks)
This information is collected and processed by Google, not by SAK STUDIOS directly, and is used to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can opt out of personalized advertising, or reset/limit your advertising identifier, through your device's settings (Settings > Google > Ads on Android, or Settings > Privacy > Ads on iOS).
Where required by applicable law (such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area/UK, or similar regulations), we will request your consent before showing personalized ads or collecting ad-related identifiers, using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow.
4. Children's Privacy
Picky Pets is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If the Game is made available under Google Play Families or a similar children's program, ad serving will be configured to use non-personalized, child-appropriate ads only, in compliance with COPPA and Google Play Families Policy requirements. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
5. Data Security
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is no personal data held by SAK STUDIOS to secure. Locally stored game data is protected by the security of your own device and Android's app sandboxing.
6. Third-Party Services
Aside from Google AdMob (described above), Picky Pets does not integrate any other third-party analytics, social login, or data-sharing services at this time. If this changes in a future update, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
7. Your Choices
You may:
Turn off personalized ads via your device's ad settings
Reset your device's advertising identifier at any time
Uninstall the Game at any time, which removes all locally stored data
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. Changes will be posted on this screen with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Game after changes means you accept the updated policy.
