Founded in 2025 | Miami, Florida

Pick Up For Cancer Inc was officially founded in May of 2025 to merge two pressing issues: cancer fundraising and environmental sustainability. The idea was born out of a desire to make a meaningful impact in our community. With limited resources but a strong commitment to change, our team began organizing pick-up drives, collecting recyclables, and donating the funds raised to cancer-related causes. We realized that even small efforts could help reduce waste and support families facing the burden of cancer.

What makes our work powerful is the triple impact created from just one simple action:

1. Cleaning up litter improves city aesthetics (which boosts tourism), reduces pollution, and prevents storm drain blockages—leading to a healthier, more livable environment.
   
   

2. Recycling collected items extends landfill life and decreases the need for extracting new raw materials, supporting sustainability.
