PACK 26 OVERVIEW
Our Pack has been in operation for over 40 years! We are chartered by the Real Church. We welcome boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade to join us for exciting adventures. Take a look at the categories below to learn more.
We meet every Monday during the school year from 6:30-7:30pm at Real Church, 5780 Reynoldsburg Baltimore Rd.
Cub Scouting is a very active and fulfilling experience. We work through acheivements, go on monthly outings, and have fun parties and events. For 2026, the fee structure is broken down like this: $85 for the national fee, $60 for the council fee, and $50 for the pack fee. Our pack fee covers things like patches, pins, achievement belt loops, neckerchiefs, and activity fees. In fact, 90% of your pack fee is used to purchase advancement materials from the scout shop just for your scout! We ask that parents purchase the uniform for their scout.
So that our programs are less cost prohibitive, Scouting America is committed to providing an opportunity and pathway for all Scouts. Need-based assistance is available for families. Please contact the Pack 26 Cubmaster for more information.
We love to be active! Our weekly meetings consist of either den meetings (small groups of the same school age Scouts), or pack meetings (the whole group of scouts in our Pack). We also schedule monthly "outings." In the past, we have visited the Ohio Historical Society, taken a tour of the Columbus Fire Museum, had Halloween and Christmas Parties, raced at a Pinewood Derby, attended a Breakfast with Santa, gone camping and hiking, and so much more.
Our Pack 26 philosophy is that Cub Scouts is a family activity. The pack is run by generous and passionate adults from the families in our group. The pack "Dens" are run trained adult leaders. Each leader is required to complete the Scouting America "Safeguarding Youth Training" to ensure a safe environment for our scouts. The pack is led by the "Cubmaster," who acts as the master-of-ceremonies at the Pack meetings and schedules the programming. At the heart of the pack is the pack committee, who work behind the scenes on items such as advancement, recruitment, event planning, fundraising, and leadership.
Lots of ways! First, we invite you to check out our Pack Hub which has tons of information, including our calendar for the year. We love posting about our activities and events. Second, feel free to contact the Cubmaster, Chris Coffey, directly with any questions you might have!
