Pisa’s train station is situated on the line connecting Turin to Rome. There are frequent connections to Florence. The train schedule is available on the Trenitalia website.
Once at the train station it is easy to reach both the conference venue and the hotels by foot.
By Car:
Pisa is close to the intersection of two highways: the A12 highway that runs from north to south (Sestri Levante – Livorno) and the A11 highway that runs from east to west (Pisa – Florence).
Pisa is a small city with many pedestrian areas and limited traffic zones. Parking is a problem, and almost all parking spaces are paid.
By Air:
Pisa has an international airport with daily flights to London, Munich, Rome, Milan, and other major Italian cities.
The airport is located about 3km from the city center. The easiest way to reach the center is probably by taxi.
