Though I didn’t pursue music in college (the first time!), I returned to piano as an adult and completed a second undergraduate degree in piano pedagogy in 2000. Along with my career in youth development and education, I have had a private studio practice for 18 years.
As a pianist and music educator I aim to teach piano skills and the love of music in ways that inspire and excite every student, hopefully at every lesson!
It has been my good fortune to learn from some exceptional pianists and music teachers along the way. I consider it a priviledge to teach, and I hope my students count me as a teacher who helps them discover themselves through the voice of the piano.
