PRIVACY POLICY — Pi7 Image Tools
1. Privacy principle
Pi7 Image Tools is a privacy-first, on-device photo & PDF toolkit. Core features process images on your phone/tablet. You do not need an account, and you do not need to upload photos to Pi7 servers to use these tools.
2. What we process
Images you pick: Android’s system picker gives temporary read access. Files load into device memory for editing/conversion.
Local preferences only: “Recent” / “Most used” tool counters stay on your device and do not include your photos.
We do not collect photo contents, require login, sell personal data, or build ad profiles from your images.
3. Local vs server
On-device (default): compress, resize (px / KB-MB / cm-mm-in), crop, rotate/flip, filters, text/watermark, metadata, conversions, PDF tools, bulk ZIP, and AI-style tools (enhance, upscale, background tools, face blur, etc.). OCR/face features use on-device models (e.g. ML Kit) when available.
Server: This version does not upload images to Pi7 for processing. Any future cloud feature will be opt-in and clearly labeled.
4. Saving & deletion
Saves only when you tap Save or download a ZIP.
Work copies live in memory/private cache; clear via Android Clear cache.
Gallery/Documents/Downloads files you export stay until you delete them.
Uninstall removes app-private data, not shared media you already saved.
5. Permissions
System picker for selected files; older Android may need storage write only to save exports. Core editing does not require internet. Pi7 does not upload your images to Pi7 servers.
6. Children
Not directed at children under 13 (or local minimum age). No knowing collection of children’s personal data.
7. Third parties
Android / on-device libraries (e.g. ML Kit) may be used on-device. Google Play has its own policy. No ad SDKs that scan your photos in this version.
8. Security & your rights
Keep your device secure. You can clear cache/storage, uninstall, or delete exports. Contact: privacy@pi7.tools / support@pi7.tools.
9. Changes
Policy updates will change the “Last updated” date. Cloud upload, if ever added, will be highlighted.
