This Privacy Policy explains how PiTrainer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application available on Google Play (the “App”). By downloading or using PiTrainer, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Data

• Account Information: If you sign in via Google Play Games, we receive your Google account identifier and basic profile (email, avatar).
  
  

• Device Identifiers: We collect a non-persistent installation ID to associate game progress with you.
  
  

1.2 Usage Data

• Gameplay Metrics: Your in-game actions (digits entered, achievements unlocked, session length) to power leaderboards and achievements.
  
  

• Crash Reports & Diagnostics: Automatic crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix bugs.
  
  

1.3 Battery Data

• Battery Level: At your consent, we may read your device’s battery level to unlock the “3.14% Battery Club” achievement. We do not store this continuously—only trigger the unlock event.
  
  

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide & Maintain the App’s core functionality (sessions, progress, achievements).
  
  

• Sync Progress between devices via Firebase Firestore.
  
  

• Authenticate users through Google Play Games for leaderboards and achievements.
  
  

• Communicate occasional updates or changes (via Google Play notifications).
  
  

3. Disclosure of Your Information

• Service Providers: Firebase (Google) handles hosting, authentication and Crashlytics. They process data under Google’s strict privacy controls.
  
  

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
  
  

• No Selling: We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
  
  

4. Data Retention

We retain your gameplay data and achievements as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Your Choices & Rights

• Access & Correction: You can view or correct your profile information via your Google account settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

PiTrainer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us to have it removed.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in countries outside your residence, including the United States, under Google’s data protection frameworks.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy—for example, to reflect new features or legal requirements. We’ll post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date.
