🛑 🚭🚯Laboratory instructions for students:

✅Students should be punctual in coming to the lab. Late comers may not be allowed into the lab.

✅Please follow lab time table according to your lab section number

✅Please bring your lab-manual when you come to laboratory

✅ It is recommended to bring your own pen, pencil, eraser, scale, etc. instead of asking your friends in lab

✅Students to wear proper clothing/full pants & wear covered shoes to avoid leg injuries

✅Students to wear apron & safety glasses whenever necessary before performing experiment

✅ Please do not speak louder/shout in lab corridors and in lab rooms, it may cause disturbance to nearby

classes/conferences

✅ Keep your bags in designated cup-boards, do not keep bags at exit doors

✅ In case of fire alarm please use stairs (Do not use automated-lift) to go out of the building

✅ Please read about procedures and precautions before performing any experiment

✅ Do not play with or deface any apparatus, if you observe any breakage you must inform your instructor in lab.

✅ For any assistance please communicate to lab faculty (or) lab instructor

✅ Do not lean or sit on experiment tables in lab, use lab chairs/stools to sit

✅ Do not put pens/pencils/scales/fingers in AC electrical sockets or in voltage outputs. It may cause electrical shock to you.

✅Restrain long hair, loose clothing and dangling jewelry while performing experiment.

✅ Do not apply excess amount of inputs as it may result in damage to any sensitive apparatus. Always use suggested/appropriate values of inputs (like….Mass, AC/DC inputs, Frequencies, Intensities, Vibrations, Oscillations, Connections, etc.) as described by your instructor. Handle instruments/apparatus with care. (Microscopes, lens, gratings, and lamps are fragile items) (Springs, strings, coils, capacitors, ammeters, voltmeters to be used appropriate to its range)

✅Dump waste papers/pencil dust/tissue papers in dustbins. Do not litter the lab rooms

✅Please switch off the setup when you complete your experiment.

✅Before you leave the lab you must handover apparatus and its associated instruments to lab faculty.

✅Students should NOT take any apparatus / any accessory / any lab item / any lab manual book, out of the lab room.

✅You are not permitted to leave the laboratory until the completion of laboratory class hours. In case of any emergency/assistance please coordinate with your lab instructor.
