• A minimum weighted mark average (WAM) of 65-70% or above

University of Melbourne²:

• Doctor of Physiotherapy *
• Minimum 70% WAM requirement
• Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)
• 3 years

La trobe University³:

• Master of Physiotherapy Practice
• Minimum 65% WAM requirement
• Written application
• 2 years

Swinburne University⁴:

• Doctor of Physiotherapy
• Minimum 65% WAM requirement
• Written application / 2-minute video
• 2 years

* It seems that University of Melbourne and Monash University falsely advertise their physiotherapy courses as it does not provide you with the ‘Doctor’ status even though the word “Doctor” is part of the course name.^{1, 2}

Specialisation

Requirements⁵:

• To specialise, physiotherapists must register to become a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
• The course work pathway to becoming a Titled member requires a master’s degree and two years of clinical experience which then allows you to specialise through a further two year training program.
