This Ambiguous Cylinder illusion will have you fooled.
So what is the real shape?
It’s a squircle 😅 It’s exactly in between a circle and a square. In the second video, you will see me creasing the sides which corrects the shape. The shape “changes” depending on which way the shape is projected into the mirror.
This was created by mathematics professor Kokichi Sugihara of Meiji University in Tokyo, Japan, which won 2nd place in the Best Illusion of the Year Contest 2016. Check out his other incredible designs.
