3. How Your Information Is Shared

3.1 Google (Firebase AI / Vertex AI)

When you submit a physics problem or use any AI-powered feature, your input is sent to Google Vertex AI via the Firebase AI SDK.

What is sent:

Google's data handling: Google Vertex AI processes your input to generate AI responses. According to Google's AI data governance policies for Vertex AI, your input data is not used to train or improve Google's foundation models. Superwall receives device-level information and subscription-related data to manage in-app purchases and paywalls.

3.3 Apple (App Store / In-App Purchases)

If you subscribe to Physics AI Pro, your payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your full payment card details. Apple may share limited transaction information with us for the purpose of verifying your subscription.

4.1 Local Storage

All your problem history, images, flashcards, quizzes, cheat sheets, and tutor conversations are stored locally on your device only using SQLite databases and the file system. This data is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

4.2 Data Transmission Security

All communications between the App and external services (Google Vertex AI, Superwall) are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. The App uses standard encryption only and does not implement custom encryption protocols.
