Grading Rubric: the problem sets will be graded on a scale from 0 - 3, in integer steps:

0 - no homework turned in

1 - over 20% of problems attempted with complete solutions (not necessarily correct)

2 - over 40% with complete solutions

3 - over 60% with complete solutions

A complete solution should include all of the steps necessary to arrive at the answer, with explanations when appropriate. The exams will be based on the homework, with minor variations. This means if you can solve every homework problem assigned, you will be able to solve every problem on the exams.
