According to the U.K. Chief Medical Officer, which is what information was referenced by the researchers, at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week is recommended. That doesn't mean you need to start right at that! The breaks can be broken up to small chunks. The important part is just having them in your routine.
For example, "six activity snacks lasting five minutes/day would be required to meet PA recommendations." (Sanders et al., 2021).
