The midterm tomorrow will be sent out by email and put on the website at 12 noon. No class will be held that day. You have 24 hours to complete the midterm and turn it into the P418 box at noon on Tuesday. You may use (1) your class notes, (2) the class textbooks, (3) a math resource, e.g. Mathematica or integral tables. No other outside resources or communication with your classmates or anyone else are allowed. The exam is not supposed to take the entire 24 hours, but to give you some flexibility about when you take it. Still, it is wise not to put it off.....

Dear class - I am happy to say that most of you did very well on the exam. Here are the results:
