My name is Mr. Rohit Rannavre, and as a PhD scholar at Mumbai University, India, I am currently working on the diversity of millipedes in some selected sites across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. My main research interests lie in the taxonomy and evolutionary biology of millipedes. I am also highly interested in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data science. 

Beyond my academic pursuits, I love exploring the natural world. I often find myself trekking through forests in search of wild animals, especially millipedes, reptiles, and amphibians. These adventures not only fuel my curiosity but also inspire my research.
