Phuc V. Trinh received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2013, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Aizu, Aizuwakamatsu, Japan, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. From 2017 to 2023, he was a Researcher with the Space Communication Systems Laboratory, Wireless Networks Research Center, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Tokyo, Japan. Since 2023, he has been a Project Research Associate (Specially Appointed Assistant Professor) with the Communications and Signal Processing Laboratory (Sugiura Laboratory), Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. His current research interests are in the area of optical and wireless communications for space, airborne, and terrestrial networks. He is a member of IEEE.
