We're changing it up in 2026 for the Ponderosa High School Foundation's Green and Gray Gathering. We're going casual, relaxed, and laid back with all the traditional favorites including student created pieces and performances. And of course all proceeds support our twice a year mini-grants, senior scholarships, and large scale collaboration projects. These efforts are only possible thanks to the generosity of our community.
Relaxed you said? This year's event will be held at the refurbished Rescue Community Center on Saturday, March 21st from 5:30pm-9:00pm. The event includes:
Dinner including Tri-tip and BBQ chicken, green salad, baked beans, macaroni salad and bread
Live Music performed by the Ponderosa Jazz Band

Dessert Dash supplied by the Bruin Bakers of Advanced Culinary Arts

We are incredibly honored to facilitate this event each year and are grateful to our community for supporting it.
Congratulations to our basket winners!
A big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets. Proceeds from this raffle will fund a grant this winter for a PHS class, department, or club.
The 2025 Green & Gray Gathering was a huge success!
Fun was had by all who attended, and many Ponderosa students were showcased. But most importantly, we earned approximately enough money to fund our mini-grant program for an entire year. Thank you!
With this one small raffle, we will be able fund a mini-grant to a teacher, department, club, or athletic team!
Thanks for for your support.
We want to thank all who came out to support Ponderosa High School at our annual fundraising banquet held at our new location, the Cameron Park Country Club. As usual, it was an amazing evening showcasing our students: the Bruin Mascot visited with diners, students from the Band and Choir performed, Key Club members volunteered, a member of the Yearbook Staff took pictures, PHS Floral made beautiful centerpieces, Advanced Culinary, Ag Mechanics, and Advanced Art provided auction items, and new this year, we enjoyed an amazing speech from a member of the Speech & Debate Team! Looking forward to seeing you next year at the 2025 Green & Gray Gathering.
Our 18th Annual Green & Gray Gathering on April 14th, 2023 was a great success!
We want to thank everyone who came out to support Ponderosa High School.
Thank you Analeez Niles, 2022/23 Yearbook Editor-in-Chief, for taking our event photos! If you attended our 2023 Green & Gray Gathering, wish to see if Analeez took a picture of you, and would like a copy, please contact us at pondofoundation@gmail.com.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Green and Gray Gathering at Saureel Vineyards. It was amazing to have everyone together again and enjoy performances, flowers, art and carpentry by the students. We appreciate our hosts Saureel Vineyards for allowing us to use such a beautiful location. A big thank you to John Sanders for the delicious food and to Scott Harvey for his exceptional wine. We are especially grateful to our sponsors who without their support this night could not have been possible. Please check out our sponsors page and watch our social media so that you can go out and support these local sponsors. Thank you to each individual who attended. Each person helps to create the best educational options and environment for every Bruin. We are so grateful to live in such a supportive community. Stay tuned for what is coming next year. You won’t want to miss it.
The first Green & Gray Gathering held by the new Board was planned for March 20, 2020. After months of planning for a sit-down dinner event catered by John Sanders of Old Town Grill in Placerville, we were forced to cancel the event due to the Covid shut down. After some last-minute scrambling to change the plan and salvage our event, we held the first ever Drive-Through Green & Gray Gathering on the sidewalk outside the Old Town Grill. John prepared dinners to go and our Board of Directors handed them out to donors who had pre-paid for the event. Thank you John Sanders and Old Town Grill for helping us keep this event going!
