My name is Amy Thayer and I am excited to introduce myself as the new College and Career Coordinator at Platteview High School. This is my 13th year at Platteview and my 33rd year in Education. In this role, I am committed to supporting our students in their academic and career journeys, helping them navigate college applications, explore career paths and achieve their post-graduation goals. I also supervise Internships, Daktronics and the Trojan Zone!
My name is Mrs. Christiansen. I have been a school counselor for 12 years and this is my 6th at Platteview High School. I am here to help students with whatever they need from Academics to Social Emotional, or College help. My favorite is working with Juniors and Seniors to help them plan for the future. I am available to help with College Applications, Scholarships, and Financial Aid information. My door is always open so feel free to drop by anytime or schedule an appointment to come in during your study hall.
