Ted Catton: From my dad's slides and it just screams "Pullman years" to me. It was taken in the summer of 1973 just after we moved to Pullman. I'm climbing out and my little brother Jon is holding the door.
Ted Catton: That's me on the left and an old Seattle friend on the right. The view is from our back porch on Crestview - across fields that are all filled in with housing now.
Ellie: My 1963 Chevy Nova in front of our house on Haven Circle.
This car cost about as much as my first guitar.

Ellie: Did anyone else experience this? I STILL TO THIS DAY type "ov" and have to correct it to "of." It doesn't help that the F and the V use the same finger on the keyboard. I swear, we were subjected to every experimental educational technique available at the time!
