I came to photography through observation: first as a way of documenting places, animals and objects, and later as a way of paying closer attention to them.
My work moves between landscape, wildlife and still life, with a particular interest in time, memory, silence and presence. I am drawn to images that invite a second look — a landscape before the weather changes, an animal caught in a brief gesture, an object that carries traces of what is no longer there.
Photography has gradually become less about collecting images and more about learning to remain present long enough to notice them.
This site brings together a selection of that ongoing work.
