Photograph Guidelines

First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank all of our event photographers for the time, creativity, and effort you put into capturing PWP Live events. Your work plays a huge role in how our shows are remembered, shared, and promoted, and we truly appreciate the partnership we have with each of you.

As we continue to grow our brand and expand our online presence, we’re introducing a simple guideline regarding photo watermarks to help maintain consistency and proper representation across shared content.

This guideline is only applicable when a photographer chooses to include their own watermark on images posted publicly. If no watermark is used, no additional requirements apply.

Our goal with this policy is not to limit creativity or ownership, but to ensure mutual visibility and brand clarity when photos are shared online. We believe this approach keeps things fair, collaborative, and respectful for everyone involved.

PWP Live Event Photography – Watermark Guidelines

These guidelines apply only when an event photographer chooses to include their own watermark on photos posted publicly.
If no watermark is used, no additional requirements apply.

Watermark Requirements

Watermark Inclusion

If a photographer includes their own watermark on event photos, a PWP Live watermark must also be included on the same image.

Color Matching

If the photographer uses an all-white watermark, the white PWP watermark must be used.
If the photographer uses an all-black watermark, the black PWP watermark must be used.
If the photographer’s watermark includes color, either the blue/black or blue/white PWP watermark may be used, depending on which is most visible on the image.

Size & Visibility

The PWP watermark must be roughly the same size as the photographer’s watermark.
Watermarks should be clearly visible, not intentionally minimized, hidden, or obscured.
Watermarks must not be distorted, stretched, or altered beyond reasonable scaling.

Placement

Placement is flexible, however watermarks should:
- Not obstruct faces, match action, or key visual elements
- Remain legible and unobtrusive while still clearly visible

Consistency

If watermarking is used, the same watermark approach should be applied consistently across a photo set from the same event.

Brand Integrity

PWP Live watermarks may not be recolored, redesigned, or modified.
Only official PWP Live watermark files may be used.

Posting & Usage

These guidelines apply to public sharing, including social media, websites, and portfolios.
Photographers are encouraged to tag or credit @PWPLive when posting event photos.
PWP Live reserves the right to share, repost, or promote event photos for promotional purposes.

Commercial Use

These guidelines do not change or override any existing agreements regarding commercial resale, licensing, or private usage, unless otherwise agreed upon separately.

Collaboration & Communication

This policy is intended to support mutual visibility, professionalism, and collaboration.
If a unique situation arises or clarification is needed, photographers are encouraged to communicate directly with PWP Live.

We sincerely appreciate the work our photographers provide and thank you for helping present PWP Live in a consistent and professional manner.
