This Privacy Policy explains how Photo Recovery (“App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application.

The App is designed to recover deleted photos and files stored on your device. In connection with that purpose, the following may apply:
The App requests access to files and storage on your device through the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / all files access permission in order to detect and recover deleted files.
This permission is requested only for the core functionality of the App. Without this permission, the App cannot perform file recovery operations, and therefore the App cannot be used as intended.
Granting this permission is entirely at your discretion. However, if you choose not to grant it, the App’s recovery features will not function and you may be unable to use the App.
We do not transfer your recovered files, deleted files, or other content from your device to our own servers.
The App uses Firebase Analytics to collect limited technical and usage information. This may include information such as:
app interactions,
device and app performance information,
usage statistics,
approximate diagnostics data,
general device information.
This information is used solely to understand app usage, improve functionality, monitor performance, and enhance user experience.
Firebase Analytics may collect data in accordance with Google’s own privacy practices.
We use information only for the following purposes:
to provide the core file and photo recovery functionality of the App,
to verify whether required permissions have been granted,
to maintain, improve, and optimize the App,
to analyze usage patterns and app performance through Firebase Analytics,
to detect technical issues and improve stability.
We do not use your data for personalized advertising, profiling, or data brokerage.
We do not share user files or personal content with third parties.
We do not independently disclose, sell, or license any user data to third parties.
However, limited analytics-related data may be processed by Google Firebase Analytics as a service provider for analytics and app performance purposes.
Where applicable under relevant privacy laws, our processing is based on:
your consent, where permission is required,
our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the App,
the necessity of processing to provide the App’s core functionality.
You may choose whether to grant storage-related permissions. Nevertheless, because the App depends on file access in order to recover deleted files, refusal of such permission will prevent the App from functioning properly.
We do not maintain our own remote database of your recovered files, deleted files, or device content.
Files accessed by the App remain on your device unless you choose to recover, save, or manage them locally.
Analytics data collected via Firebase may be retained in accordance with Google Firebase’s retention policies.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, or under the minimum legal age in the applicable jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information in connection with the App, please contact us so that we may take appropriate action.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App.
However, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App uses the following third-party service:
Firebase Analytics (provided by Google)
Use of such third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policies.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
request access to personal data,
request correction or deletion,
object to or restrict certain processing,
withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent,
lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
Because we do not store user files or personal content on our own servers, our ability to provide or delete certain data may be limited to data processed through third-party analytics services, if any.
If you access or use the App from outside the country in which it is operated, please be aware that your analytics data may be processed by third-party service providers in other jurisdictions in accordance with their applicable policies and safeguards.
