The Photography Group meets most months on the third Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Las Trampas Room of the Library in Walnut Creek (1644 N. Broadway). Roughly 12 members, including spouses and significant others, usually attend our meetings. The group is open to all local SIR branch members.  If you are not on the photography list and would like to join us, contact:

We organize one shared album for each meeting or outing.  Attendees are invited to upload pictures and videos to the album or bring a thumb drive with photos or movies that they would like to share with the group. Directions for using the shared albums are below. 

We also occasionally have guest speakers, tutorials, or video blogs on some aspects of photography or new camera technology.
