I started "Photographing Furry Faces, Family, & the Forgotten" (PF4) in August of 2024 as a photography project to help dogs at the shelters of some local Oklahoma towns near where I live in Sallisaw, OK. Oklahoma is in an animal crisis for several reasons such as lack of resources, failure to spay and neuter animals, lack of awareness, backyard breeding, and other contributing factors due to various responsible parties. I felt lead to use a skill that I had (photography) in order to capture the forgotten community of animals that often don’t make it into a shelter, and if they do, don’t often make it out. If anything, I hope to raise awareness about the animal crisis and encourage people to ethically adopt animals in need instead of fund unethical breeding and puppy mills.
Since growing in online communities, I have also extended my photography services to the public by offering pet-friendly family photos, “end-of-life” memorialization sessions, dog photo portraits, and discounted photo sessions for adopting any of my shelter models. I am also hoping to extend my reach in order to help more forgotten “furry faces” in the State of Oklahoma with the help of the community. I can be found, as well as the furry faces I capture, on Facebook at Photographing Furry Faces.

Consider donating to PF4! 100% of donations will be used to help photograph and advocate for animals in need. Many shelters & rescues don't have the funds to pay for quality photos! I am a one man team and your donation will help me in assisting more shelters who lack funding, help me reach farther places, and pay for photo editing services. Photos can make a world of a difference for a dog! Getting the forgotten seen is crucial.
