SoftCoderX ("SoftCoderX", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Photo Editor Plus AI (the "App") handles information when you use it on an Android device.
Privacy summary: Photo Editor Plus AI is designed to edit photos locally on your device. Photos are not uploaded by default. When you choose to use an optional AI feature, the image and editing instructions needed for that request may be sent to the AI service you select or configure solely to provide the requested result.
When you select a photo, the App accesses the image you choose through Android's system photo or file picker. The App may process the following locally on your device:
The selected image and its visual content.
Editing settings, such as color adjustments, filters, crop, rotation, and retouch strokes.
An edited copy that you choose to save or share.
We do not automatically upload photos used only with local editing tools.
AI features are optional. If you intentionally run an AI edit, the App may transmit the selected image, any mask you paint, your prompt or instruction, the selected AI tool, and basic technical parameters such as image dimensions to the AI backend and provider needed to complete that request. This information is used only to generate the requested AI result.
Depending on your configuration, AI processing may use your own provider account or provider access made available by the App's configured backend. Review the privacy policy and terms of the AI provider you choose before using AI features. Do not submit content that you are not authorized to share.
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your name, email address, device details, screenshots, and support request.
We use information only as necessary to:
Provide local photo-editing functions.
Process an AI edit that you specifically request.
Save or share an edited image at your direction.
Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and protect the App.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Local edits are processed in the App while it is running. When you choose to export an image, the exported file is saved to the location you select or to your device's Pictures/Photo Editor Plus AI folder, subject to your Android version and device settings. You control the photos and exported files on your device.
We share information only when necessary to provide an AI edit you request or to operate the supporting service. The AI provider receives only the content and request information required to process that feature. We do not sell your photos, prompts, or personal information.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or to investigate fraud or misuse.
The App may request or use the following Android capabilities:
Photos and media access: To let you choose a photo for editing. On supported Android versions, the system photo picker may provide access only to the specific photo you select.
Internet access: Only for optional AI features and related service communication. Local editing does not require an internet connection.
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Declining photo access prevents importing photos until you choose one through the system picker; declining or disabling internet access prevents AI features from operating.
SoftCoderX does not operate a general photo library for the App. Local photos remain on your device unless you export, share, or delete them. AI service request data may be retained temporarily by the selected AI provider or backend only as needed to process, secure, debug, or comply with legal obligations. Retention practices can differ by provider.
We use reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to the App, including secure HTTPS connections for configured AI services. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address the request.
You can choose not to use AI features, remove exported photos from your device, revoke App permissions, and contact us regarding privacy questions. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other control of personal information we hold.
The App may link to, communicate with, or use third-party AI providers when you enable AI processing. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. SoftCoderX is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
