I'm pretty sure this is an issue with how windows photoviewer handles the print job. We started experiencing issues printing large numbers of photos (jpg) with multiple photos per page (4) when we moved to windows 7.

Same problem here with a Phaser 6350 and Windows 8.1 64 bits and Xerox Global Print Driver PCL or PS... I have the same result as TrustedCloud with 4 photos and 2 photos on same page. Problem doesn't appear if I use Windows 8.1 driver for Xerox printers (Xerox PS Color Class Driver). But with this driver, menus are basic. No communicarion with printer to know how much ink is left or if you have two paper drawer, can't select the second one manually, etc...

I can't find the link now, but Sony had a ARW/RAW driver download for windows (in the camera apps/drivers/patches) that allowed support for just that.

Perhaps now it's integrated into the PlayMemories software.

When I open the pic with Windows photos viewer and try to print from there, by clicking the print, the print job always stuck in the print queue and cannot cancel or remove. all print jobs behind this will stop.

My drivers are up to date, my Windows is up to date, and I've changed my color profile to the one from my monitor's website (to no notable changes). I've tried fiddling around with AMD graphics settings with no notable difference on anything, and I've done a SFC /scannow. Can't find word on this issue elsewhere. Windows Photo Viewer itself has no settings or options menu so I don't anything to tweak on it. The photos would display normally even if at maximum window size if I dropped my resolution down to 1080p.

I'm looking for an application to view files as if they were being viewed in the Windows default photo viewer. I've tried installing the driver to support the files plus windows raw photo viewer. Neither option actually works.

As promised, inside is the viewer itself which has a keyring, a USB A to mini-B cable, an instruction manual and 8cm driver CD inside a plastic cellophane bag. Unfortunately, it seems the bag has started to stick to the disc, resulting in residue that made it difficult to read.

I purchased the same 1.1" Photo Viewer. I do have the disk but even after installing the software, my PC does not recognize the viewer once I connect it to the USB. I went to the website and installed the driver (called Vista.exe), however, when I go to run it, it gives me an error (the one where it asks to you send an error report) and then it does nothing.

Hello everybody. thanks for your work. Tried atlas and iit is realy good on many task. I have a problem tough. I am in an office environment, and i print a lot. First problem is i can not seem to activate old windows photo viewer, and right clik context menu missing print option. Tried different reg hacks for photo viewer and didn't seem to work.

Photo Viewer: the program itself might be removed, so only reg hacks probably won't work. you can try enabling UPW and re-install windows photo viewer from MS Store(not sure if it will work). Or use 3rd party img viewer such as IrfanView/XnView/FastStone like I do(Irfan actually is much better than windows photo viewer in my opinion).

Print: I guess you were talking about the "print" command in context menu of image files? It calls windows photo viewer to finish the printing, since the photo viewer is removed so you can't print images this way. If you insist on this you can try to install photo viewer back and see if it comes back.

I don't know how to enable UPW. Tried to find some info on internet but info seem very vague, nothing specifical. Sorry , i am not very techi on this kind of things. finded some photoviewer.dll, and run some reghack, but nothing copme to life, only some error on load image, i will rerun and come back with error info.

TRIED SOME "HACKS" but none worked. Instaled dual boot with full windows 10, copied folder windows photo viewer from booth program files and x86, searched photovierwer.dll and copied on some l;ocation from winxs, but cannot find folder lcu from servicing folder , even if i try to create i receive respons that is already. here :(.

That was a start. Enabled UWP, instaled Microsoft Photos. It work to open image. But context print menu, did not apear, and trying to registrer photoviiewer.dll for old photoviewer giv same error (module filed to load).

Any other ideas ? can i unpack photoviewer from image with dism ?. Momentarily i think that photoviewer is in placew but i am not sure if it is in corect location, or it is another service, or dependencies that not work.

What the context menu print item do is sending proper printing parameters to photoviewer, google and find the reg hack to do that. Or you can search the whole regedit in your another system with specific string to find the correct config then copy back.

When I used Windows, every time I updated my video driver, Windows Photo Viewer returned to the days of old-fashioned, sepia-toned photos. The image and background space around the image had a yellow/tan tint. I'll show you how to fix this problem.

@mouse_589870794760200 Do you see any errors under Windows viewer? Did you upgrade the Video driver? Windows 11 controls the graphics differently than previous version. Can you force the program to run in GPU mode? Systems/display/graphics/options

Can you try to change the boolean value of hardware acceleration to false in file AppData/Roaming/Reolink/userSettings ............... {"key":"hardware-acceleration","type":"boolean","value":false,"_id":"sSr1ypqwasdaasdip"}?

Photo Viewer is a free image viewing utility that enhances your photos to level up your viewing experience. The viewer for Windows 10 has an algorithm system to improve photo quality on your desktop. Transferring photos from your phone to your PC sharpens the details.

Windows 10 has a built-in photo viewer to exchange photos, but the loading time is too slow. This draws potential users towards other photo viewer apps that work more efficiently. Most people use other photo viewer apps as an extra boost to get their work done faster.

For instance, IfranView is a free photo viewer app that has great feature functionality. You can add plugins to the app for batch conversions. XnView is the next best photo viewer app that works as an image converter and offers over seventy formats.

Most people prefer the traditional Windows photo viewer compared to this newer photo viewer. However, this version gives you plugins and resources that add to the functionality, but the former version still works perfectly fine.

For image viewer windows associated with an image buffersequence, the Save Image Sequence and Load Image Sequence allow saving or loading multipleimages of the sequence as a numbered sequence of image files, or asa single AVI, BigTIFF, FITS, PBM/PGM/PPM, or TIFF format image filewith multiple images. Save Image can also save imagesdirectly to an FTP URL.

For image viewer windows associated with the PIXCI framegrabber's image frame buffer(s), the Adjustments allows setting common adjustments, assuitable for the model of the PIXCI frame grabber in use, andis described under PIXCI Image Viewer - Capture.

The Always-On-Top allows forcing the image viewerwindow, and its subwindows, to always be ''above'' other windows;subject to the other windows' also requesting Always-On-Top, and the whims of the host operatingsystem. This option is typically useful only when XCAP is beingused in combination with other applications, such as in conjunctionwith the PIXCI TWAIN Sourcery orPIXCI Image-Pro Sourcery feature. The Always-On-Top feature is only supported underWindows.

The image viewer window associated with the PIXCI framegrabber's image frame buffer(s) has Capture which provides forcapturing images from the PIXCI frame grabber and otherfeatures associated with the PIXCI frame grabber. Anyadditional image viewer windows created by Launch 2nd Viewer do not provide Capture, but only view, modify, examine, and/or draw the frame buffers.

Yes, actually. I just bought a 7800 XT and did a lot of troubleshooting because Windows Photo Viewer (the legacy one) couldn't display photos at their native resolutions (any zooming in or out was fine). Never been on an AMD GPU before or had the previous drivers, but I noticed after reinstalling that it broke after getting the latest AMD 23.12.1 driver and worked on the second to most recent one.

Though mine was a lot more corrupted than that and it only seemed to affect Windows Photo Viewer; any other viewer was fine. Already sent a report on it with the bug report tool, but it forced me to use the old driver category since it was the one I was using. 17dc91bb1f
