AI Photo Edit & Upscale Studio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the AI Photo Edit & Upscale Studio mobile application (the "App").
What We Access
When you grant permission, the App may access your device's Camera and Photo Library so you can select, capture, edit, upscale, enhance, remove backgrounds from, create collages from, and save images.
How We Use It
Your selected images are used solely to perform the editing features you choose.
On-Device Processing
Core image editing features, including photo enhancement, AI upscaling, background removal, collage creation, filters, and adjustments, are processed locally on your device.
We do not upload your original photos, edited photos, camera feed, or image library to our own servers.
What We Access
The App may request access to your device's microphone.
How We Use It
Microphone permission may be required by certain system camera APIs or third-party frameworks used by the App.
The App does not record, store, transmit, analyze, or process audio data.
What We Access
When you use the optional AI Image Generation feature, you may enter text prompts describing the image you would like to generate.
How We Use It
To generate the requested image, your text prompt is securely transmitted to third-party AI service providers, including RapidAPI and underlying AI providers such as OpenAI when applicable.
These providers process the prompt and return generated image results to the App.
User Consent
Before any prompt is transmitted, the App presents a disclosure explaining:
What information will be sent
Which third parties will receive the information
Why the information is required
No prompt is transmitted until you provide explicit consent.
You may withdraw your consent at any time through the App's settings.
Data Handling
Only the information necessary to generate the requested image is transmitted.
We do not intentionally attach personal identifiers to AI generation requests.
Generated images are returned directly to the App and stored only on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share them.
All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not collect, process, receive, or store:
Credit card information
Bank account information
Payment credentials
Apple may provide us with limited transaction status information necessary to verify subscription entitlements.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information.
We share information only in the following circumstances:
When you use the optional AI Image Generation feature and provide consent, your text prompts are transmitted to RapidAPI and underlying AI processing providers, including OpenAI when applicable, solely to generate the requested image.
These providers process information according to their own privacy and security practices and are responsible for protecting the information they receive.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, legal process, or governmental request.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App.
Photos, edited images, projects, preferences, and app data stored on your device remain subject to your device's security controls.
We do not operate servers that store your photos, edited images, or personal image content.
Photos, generated images, and edited content remain on your device until you delete them.
We do not maintain our own server-side database of text prompts or generated images.
Third-party AI providers may temporarily process or retain transmitted prompts according to their own privacy policies and operational requirements.
5. Face Data Processing
The App may process images that contain human faces when users utilize features such as photo enhancement, image upscaling, background removal, portrait editing, or other image editing tools.
Face data is processed solely to provide the functionality requested by the user.
All face-related processing occurs locally on the user's device. The App does not collect, extract, store, retain, transmit, upload, sell, rent, or share face data.
Face data is not sent to our servers or to any third parties.
Face-related information exists only temporarily in device memory for the duration required to complete the requested processing operation and is immediately discarded after processing is complete.
Because face data is processed entirely on-device and is not retained by us, there is no ongoing storage of face data and no sharing of face data with third parties.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
The App may use third-party services including:
Apple App Store
RapidAPI
OpenAI (when applicable through AI generation services)
Use of these services may be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted and the "Last Updated" date will be revised.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
