Bella Baby is the face of hospital baby portraiture. We bringexperienced, professional photographers into the hospitals to capture yourbaby's first photograph with a natural, artistic style. We believe thatbabies look the most beautiful when being held in their parents' arms orcuddled in one of their own baby blankets. Bella Baby captures thisbeauty by using only "real things"...natural window light, professional photographers and professional grade SLR digital cameras.

Newborns aren't the only subject we love to photograph... we love tocapture all of the milestones of family life. Using aphotojournalistic style approach to photography, we captureyour baby learning to stand, your 5-year old riding his bike with notraining wheels, and your teenager's last photograph before she becomesan adult. Submit one color photo, taken in last 6 months.Use a clear image of your face. Do not use filters commonly used on social media.Have someone else take your photo. No selfies.Take off your eyeglasses for your photo.Use a white or off-white background without shadows, texture, or lines.

Many acceptance facilities such as posts offices, libraries, and local government offices will take your photo. Check our Acceptance Facility Search page to see if your local facility offers photo services.

Lay your baby on his or her back on a plain white or off-white sheet. Make certain there are no shadows on your baby's face, especially if you take a picture from above. Covering a car seat with a plain white or off-white sheet and taking a picture of your child in the car seat may also be helpful.

Only if your appearance has significantly changed from what is in your current passport. Growing a beard or coloring your hair would not constitute a significant change. If you can still be identified from the photo in your current passport, you do not need to apply for a new passport.

When someone takes your passport photo, you must remove your face covering or mask so your full face is visible and the face covering and mask do not block portions of your face. We need to see your full face to establish your identity.

When I brought my photos into Lightroom, I made a few minor adjustments. I brushed in some exposure on his face and used a brush to darken the area behind him. I also brought down the blacks a little bit to add some contrast without messing with my highlights, and I added in a little noise reduction to help with the grain.

The photographer had zero experience with newborns. As our son was too young to even hold his head up, our hands holding him up were visible in all the photos and thus ineligible. We then put him on some white posterboard on the floor which apparently was the perfect spot to fall asleep and take a nap. There was no waking him up for a good 20 minutes. Finally, we irritated him enough that he did wake up cranky and fussy, not making the photo-taking any easier.

At a photo store, there will likely be someone on staff who can do some light editing, like adjusting the exposure, smoothing out the background, cropping and sizing the photo to the right dimensions.

If you want to use a photo printing website, I recommend using one that specifically does passport photos. Most offer light editing, exposure control, smoothing out the background, etc. Just make sure that you give them the specifications for the photos you need. Be careful! If you are in the U.K. and need a photo for a U.S. passport, make sure they will size according to American specs.

Try to center the hole punch at the top of each photo. I used wire sparkly garland (often found in the gift wrap section) to wrap around the hole and hang from the ceiling in different parts of the party setting. You might prefer twine or ribbon, or whatever you have available, and hang the photos wherever you think guests might congregate. (This is where the bonus contribution to party decor comes in!)

You can go ahead and print the photos out at home if you want. For US passport photos, they can be printed on either glossy or matte paper and if you have a photo printer at home, this is easy enough to do.

I was going to Target anyway, so I ordered it to be collected from there. I received a confirmation email saying that my photos would be ready in an hour, so I could get my regular shopping done and then just stop by Guest Services on the way out.

This might be your first visit to us, or you might be so awestruck at how quickly your baby is growing and changing, that you just have to come back and record this stage too. Or maybe now you are ready to bring along siblings or even fury siblings?

Sitter SessionsWe love sitter sessions! When your baby reaches this stage in their milestones journey, they find everything a joy and a wonder. Pop them in a bucket and watch them laugh with glee, or strip them off to celebrate their amazing peachy bottom while they do their amazing lizard pose on our bed!

Eleanor has had a long standing love affair with black and white photography. Believe it or not when PhotoBaby first started almost all the work was black and white! These days the studio has found a real love for colour too, but all the same, some images still cry out to be in black and white.

I remember seeing a friend post a milestone baby photo on a blanket with 1-12 months printed on it. This was my first time seeing a milestone blanket and I thought it was adorable. I bought the blanket from Batzkids when I was pregnant with my son and thought it would be a fun opportunity to get creative every month with milestone baby photos.

ELF ON THE SHELF // Tate as an Elf on The Shelf might be my all-time favorite. If you want all the details on recreating this scene check out my post on how to turn your baby into the Elf on the Shelf.

Did you capture monthly or weekly milestone baby photos? Share them with me I would love to see your milestone baby photo ideas!! If you found this post fun and useful please share it with your friends, & pin it to Pinterest!

This one is a classic! I bought this Santa hat on Etsy and I consistently use it for holiday photos. I love how long the hat is, sometimes the whole length of the baby. Make sure to capture different angles and positions for a variety of looks.

Eye contact. Super fresh newborns often have their eyes crossed but as time marches on, their eyes become less and less crossed. Making older newborns champs at camera eye contact. And since they are awake more than a 7-14 day baby, we are pretty much guaranteed some of these photos. Your money will be flying out the window!

However, if you did maternity photos with your first baby, things will look a little different this time around because you should include your 1st child and if you hire me as your photographer, it will also be a family photo session!

We were super fortunate to not only have a perfect day but there were so many gorgeous trees and flowers blooming throughout Mellon Park! We got photos with the Magnolia, redbud, cherry, and apple blossoms! And the daffodils and tulips were also growing! Mellon Park is always beautiful, but it is extra special in the Spring!

I loved working with this beautiful Pittsburgh family and I wish them all the best as they welcome their baby girl into their family this summer! I know that their son is going to make an awesome big brother!

If desired, insert two lengths of ribbon for the ties for your fabric photo album between the two cover pieces of fabric at the middle of the shorter side of the cover. The long end of the tie should be going to the middle of the book, between the two right sides of the pieces of cover fabric.

9. Add the 4 x 6 vinyl pieces for the photos to each of the page rectangles. There should be about 1.5 inches on the top, bottom and outside edges and the edge of the vinyl piece, and about 1 inch in the middle between the two vinyl pieces. Stitch around three sides of the vinyl, leaving the top side open so that you can slide pictures into it. Repeat for the other three page pieces of fabric, making sure that all your openings are on top!

10. Match two photo pieces of fabric right sides together, and add a fleece piece to the bottom of the stack. Again, all your edges should be lined up; the picture shows them separate a little at the bottom to help illustrate the order the pieces should be in.

Baby poop comes in a variety of colors, and those colors can change depending on your baby's diet. Your newborn's very first poop, called meconium, is greenish-black and tarry. Breastfed poop is yellowish, soft, and seedy; while formula-fed poop is thicker and brownish in color. Solid food poop has more substance and a stronger odor. Babies can be constipated and have diarrhea, just like adults, which will make their poop look different than usual. These photos give you the full scoop on newborn poop. (A note for the squeamish: This gallery contains real photos.)

Baby poop comes in a wide range of colors and a variety of textures, and deciphering what's normal and what's not can be puzzling to a new parent. If you're spending more time than you'd ever imagined staring quizzically at the contents of your baby's diaper, you're not alone! Bowel movements are one of the most common concerns parents ask their child's doctor about. 17dc91bb1f
