Principalele obiective ale proiectului:
1. Construirea, dezvoltarea, testarea si validarea unei tehnologii tip fotoreactor in tub cu flux de aer utilizat la fotoliza compusilor nitroaromatici (WP1).
2. Investigarea in faza gazoasa a compusilor nitroaromatici cu detectarea si cuantificarea produsilor rezultati in urma degradarii pentru a dovedi mecanismul de fotoliza a 2-nitrofenolului propus de Bejan et al., (2006) cu formarea HONO (WP2).
3. Investigarea distributiei aerosolilor organici secundari obtinuti in urma fotolizei compusilor nitroaromatici (WP3).
The main objectives of the project:
1. Constructing, developing, testing, and validating a flow tube system (photoreactor) technology for the photolysis of nitroaromatic compounds (WP1).
2. Gas-phase investigations of the nitroaromatic photolysis with the detection and quantification of the degradation products to prove the Bejan et al., (2006) proposed degradation mechanisms of 2-nitrophenols and HONO formation (WP2).
3. The investigation of the secondary organic aerosol formation from the photolysis of nitroaromatic compounds (WP3).
