Core Principle: Local Processing Only

As a device optimization and cleaning tool, Phone Clean Manager prioritizes your privacy. We want to be completely transparent: we do not collect, upload, transmit, or store your personal files, photos, videos, or documents on our servers. All file scanning and cleaning processes occur strictly locally on your device.

Automatically Collected Information

To improve our App's performance and provide targeted advertising, we integrate third-party SDKs that may automatically collect certain device and usage information. This data is pseudonymized and does not directly identify you. It may include:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID, Android ID).

• Device information (e.g., device model, OS version, language).

• App usage data (e.g., crash logs, feature interaction metrics).

2. Permissions Explained

To provide core functionalities such as junk cleaning and device management, Phone Clean Manager requires specific Android permissions. We only request these permissions when absolutely necessary.

• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

  • Why we need it: Required to read files on your device's external storage so we can identify temporary files, cache, and other junk files.

  • When it is triggered: When you tap to view file directories or scan specific file types (Applicable to Android 11 and below).

• android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

  • Why we need it: Required to modify or delete the junk files and empty folders identified during the scan.

  • When it is triggered: When you enter file directories to execute a cleaning process (Applicable to Android 11 and below).

• android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

  • Why we need it: This is a broad storage access permission necessary for comprehensive file management. It allows the App to deeply scan your device to find hidden junk files, APKs, and large unused files across the entire file system.

  • When it is triggered: When you tap to view file directories or scan specific file types (Applicable to Android 11 and above).

• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  • Why we need it: To send you alerts regarding device storage status, cleaning reminders, or optimization tips.

  • When it is triggered: Requested upon your first entry on the splash screen (Applicable to Android 13 and above).

• android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS

  • Why we need it: Required to retrieve app usage behavior and determine which applications are generating the most cache, allowing us to optimize storage efficiently.

  • When it is triggered: When you click to clear cache files and the App needs to fetch cache details (Applicable to Android 6 and above).

• android.permission.GET_PACKAGE_SIZE

  • Why we need it: Automatically utilized to calculate the storage size occupied by other installed applications on your device. (Applicable to Android 6 and below; requires no explicit user prompt).

• android.permission.CLEAR_APP_CACHE

  • Why we need it: Automatically utilized to execute the clearing of application caches to free up space. (Applicable to Android 6 and below; requires no explicit user prompt).

• android.permission.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES

  • Why we need it: Allows the App to request the uninstallation of other applications that you explicitly select for removal. (Requires no explicit permission prompt, but the actual uninstall process always requires your manual confirmation).

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Our App integrates third-party services for analytics and advertising. These third parties act as Data Controllers or Processors for the information they collect. We encourage you to review their privacy policies:

• Google Play Services: Used for core Android functionalities and app delivery.

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve personalized ads.

• Firebase Analytics: Used to collect app usage data and crash logs to help us improve the App's stability and user experience.

• Facebook Developer SDK (Meta): Used for ad tracking, app event measurement, and optimization of marketing campaigns.

4. Global Privacy Rights

Depending on your region, you have specific rights regarding your data under global privacy frameworks.

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
