Our summer undergraduate CRSP (Cancer Research Scholar Program) student, Izzy, presented the research she completed in our lab this summer!

Over the course of the program, Izzy gained hands-on experience with a wide range of techniques, from DNA cloning to assisting with projects across the lab. Considering this was her first experience working in a research laboratory, she did an outstanding job and was a fantastic addition to the team.

Congratulations on a successful summer, Izzy, and best of luck during your senior year at Miami University this fall!

Drs. Phoenix and Reel attended the 22nd International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology in beautiful Sydney Australia! We got to present our work from the lab, connect with colleagues and explore Sydney. 

Dr. Sarah Reel celebrated the completion of her pediatric hem-onc fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital! The lab came out to support Sarah on this momentous occasion - truly her las day of school!

Ipsita completed in the 3MT (3-Minute Thesis) competition talking about her oligodendroglioma model, and was the People's Choice recipient! Great job Ipsita!
