I am an Economist at the World Bank and Latin America and the Caribbean Gender Innovation Lab (LACGIL). Prior to that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) and Freie Universität Berlin. I hold a PhD in Economics from Universität Hamburg.

My research interests include Gender, Labour and Natural Resources Economics, and are focused on the economies of developing countries in Africa, Latin America, and the MENA region.  My work has been published in Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, World Development, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Energy Economics, and Economics & Politics. 

I am also a Research Affiliate at IZA Institute of Labour Economics and a Research Fellow at Economic Research Form (ERF).
