Frequently Asked Questions
How do students access the PHMS library catalog?
Students can access the Follett Destiny Library Catalog through their WakeID by clicking on the 'Follett Destiny Discover' icon. Since they're already logged into their WakeID, then they're automatically logged into their library account.
Are Virtual Academy students able to check out physical books from the Pine Hollow Library?
Yes! Students are able to access the Pine Hollow Library Catalog through their WakeID portal by clicking the Follett Destiny Discover button. Students can explore topics, collections, and search for specific titles. If a student wants to check out a book, they need to place it on hold. Ms. Ziller will find the book, check it out, and email the student and parents with pick-up details.
I still have library book checked out a previous school year. When can I return them?
Students can return their any WCPSS school library books during school hours to the Pine Hollow Middle School front office.
