We are excited to now offer a Beginners IV Placement Class!
Requirements for taking our IV Course:
Must be at least 18 years old
You must have successfully completed a Phlebotomy Training Class within the past year -OR- prove at least one year of experience drawing blood through employment history verified through either note from your employer and/or time sheets. If you have a situation where you cannot prove phlebotomy experience but want to take the class, please email me directly at rockymountaineducation@gmail.com to see if there is a permissible exception.
Disclaimer:
This is NOT a training on how to run an IV or push fluids or medications. This is an IV placement class meaning we will teach you how to successfully place an IV catheter, tape it down, and flush it with a saline flush. You will NOT be a Certified IV Technician at the end of the class. This will be Certification of Completion.
Class size will be limited to 10 Students. It will occur over two days, each class will be about 3 hours long. Please email me if interested and you will be added to the waitlist to be able to register for the class. Registration access will be found on our company website.
