Hi, my name is Veena, and I'm a Biological Sciences major at ASU Online. I joined the PHIM Club at ASU in Fall 2024 as Chief Operations officer, and I'm eager to take this club forward as President! My interests include medicine, sustainability, music, dance, and food. I am interested in pursuing research and entrepreneurship to innovate in the fields of medicine and sustainability.
Hi everyone! I’m Chrissi, an undergraduate student at Arizona State University majoring in Cell, Genetics, and Developmental Biology with minors in Data Science and Neuroscience. My academic and career interests center around embryology, endocrinology, and genetic engineering. Outside of school you can find me training for a long distance run/bike/swim, hiking with my dogs, or sipping herbal tea in my garden. I’m also very passionate about using herbs for prevention and healthcare treatment. As Historian, I’m looking forward to sharing our passion for integrative medicine, while highlighting ASU alumni who have also pursued alternative wellness careers.
Hi, I’m Lakshmi! I’m a sophomore pursuing a BS in Genetics, Cell, and Developmental Biology at ASU. Born in Chennai and raised in Bengaluru, I’m passionate about neuroscience and aspire to pursue a PhD that brings together neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and law. Outside academics, I’m a trained Carnatic vocalist, a Kathak student, and I enjoy sketching, reading history, exploring world cinema, and learning new languages. As Community Outreach Officer for PHIM, I work on building partnerships, fostering collaborations, and expanding the club’s reach.
