Establishing inquiry-based communities to improve the teaching of writing has been a central tenet of Philadelphia Writing Project’s work since 1986. This year's Advanced Institute is open to teachers who have previously attended an Invitational Summer Institute (ISI) and focuses on supporting teacher leadership through going public with practice, designing professional development, and engaging in advocacy.
