About us

Phil Tucker Plant Hire is the joining of Phil Tucker with his 40 years of experience in operating all types of plant previously owning over 50 categories of CITB tickets at one time as well as much experience in many aspects of repair and fabrication within the field, and Matt Tucker a talented operator with over 15 years’ experience while still being in his early 30s, who has taken what he learnt as a young child from his father and shown how capable he is to again operate various plant equipment in a variety of settings. 

This team has never been afraid of an honest hard day’s work.

Previous experience in quarry work, utilities installation, large scale housing development, river work, etc. driving dumpers, bulldozers, and excavators from 1 ton to 55 ton. 

We have many repeat customers including ones who have been with us for over 20 years.

What we here at Phil Tucker Plant Hire can offer you as the customer is knowledgeable, experienced operators who are able to work independently as well as a part of a larger team to get the job done right while being competitive in this market.

We offer separate operator rates for driving machines you own/ hired. We have a 1.5-ton to 40 ton excavators, which are up for hire including drivers at very competitive rates.

We also have Crushers and Screeners available.

We offer long term hire discounts as well as discounts for the customer supplying their own fuel.
