I hope you’re doing well. You are receiving this email because, in the beginning-of-semester Student Support Survey, you indicated that you would like more information about at least one of the following: food, clothing, showers, or toiletries.
Food
There are four different ways to get extra food from EVC! (More details are at the end.)
Second Harvest Food Distribution (1st/3rd Fridays)
EVC Fresh Market (Mon – Thur)
EVC Fresh Farmer’s Market (2nd/4th Thursday)
CalFresh ($ for food!)
Campus Showers/Toiletries
In accordance with AB1995 Campus showers are open to all students. Showers are offered Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm inside of the PE Building. If needed, students may pick up essential items such as soap, towels, and shampoo from the EVC C.A.R.E Closet located inside of Gullo I-106.
C.A.R.E. Clothing Closet
In partnership with the EVC Associated Student Government, the C.A.R.E. Clothing Closet provides baby clothing and essentials, business wear, everyday wear, and hygiene items to students. Students may email: studentlife@evc.edu to set up an appointment time to “shop” in the CARE Closet. All items are free to students.

1. Second Harvest Food Distribution
1st and 3rd Friday of every month, from 9:30 to 11 am inside of EVC Parking Lot 1. RSVP using this link. Email: fresh@evc.edu for more information.
2. EVC Fresh Market
F.R.E.S.H Market is located on the first floor of the Gullo I Student Center in Room 114 directly near the ATM machines.
Monday-Thursday: 12:00pm-4:00pm
Fridays: By Appointment Only
If a student needs access to the pantry outside the above listed hours please email the Office of Student Life at studentlife@evc.edu or call (408) 223-6768.
3. EVC Fresh Farmer’s Market Days
Get a variety of fresh produce the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month on the Central Green from 9:30 am to 1 pm.
4. Sign up for CalFresh and get financial assistance for purchasing food!
