Philnetz held a "Forum on Dual Citizenship for Filipino Migrants in Germany" on 24 August 2025 in Bonn. Guest speakers from the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt, lead by Consul Cecille Lao, gave informative presentations on the different aspects related to dual citizenship for Filipinos and discussed the concerns brought forward by an audience of Filipinos, Germans and Filipino-Germans.

On 5 February 2025, Philnetz completed a fundraising campaign to support the implementation of the Special Education (SPED) Program of Polillo Central Elementary School on the island of Polillo in the Philippines, transferring a total of €1,000 in donations to the SPED teachers at the school. On the same day, Philnetz held an online meeting with SPED teachers Melvyn Calleja and Alberta Rigodon. Philnetz received the documentation of the SPED activities and financial report from Mr. Calleja on 3 April 2025.

In 2024, Philnetz organized a conference on the topic "Challenges and Opportunities in the Integration of Filipino nurses in Germany” on 21-22 September in Bonn. It was the first Filipino conference in Germany to address the needs of Filipino nurses working in Germany. Philnetz cooperated with the Philippine Nurses Association Germany e.V. (PNAG) and the Filipino Nurses Association Germany e.V. (FNAG) for this conference and its follow-up activities. More information is available on the conference page. Grace Lugert Jose presented the conference declaration at the DKF-KDA conference "Von 1960 bis Heute: Internationals in der Pflege" in Berlin on 21 February 2025. Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau also presented it at the DRK Wohlfahrtskongress in Berlin on 26 March 2025.

The Mercator Roundtable "Gesundheit! Teilhabe im Pflegesektor", organized by the Mercator Stiftung and scheduled for 5 June 2025, was postponed to 4 November 2025. Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau will be attending the meeting.

Additional collaborative activities with FNAG included a series of webinars:

• Understanding Discrimination and Racism and Taking Action – An online workshop on 27 March 2025, facilitated by Cuso Ehrich, where participants shared insights on racism and discriminatory practices in the workplace and beyond, examined the historical roots of racism and its effects on daily life, and explored collective actions that can be taken to combat it. Philippinenbüro e.V. and Halo-Halo e.V. organized the activity together with FNAG and Philnetz.

• Assessment of the Recruitment of Filipino Nurses for Germany – An online presentation on 15 November 2024 by Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau, who shared findings from her recent study on the recruitment and integration of Filipino nurses in Germany.

• Trauma Among Healthcare Workers – An online information seminar on 4 November 2024 with Dr. Diana Ramos Dehn, who discussed the impact of trauma on the nursing profession, explored coping strategies, and highlighted the importance of creating a supportive environment for those affected.

Philnetz veranstaltete am 24. August 2025 in Bonn ein „Forum zur doppelten Staatsbürgerschaft für philippinische Migranten in Deutschland“. Gastredner des philippinischen Generalkonsulats in Frankfurt unter der Leitung von Konsulin Cecille Lao hielten informative Vorträge zu den verschiedenen Aspekten der doppelten Staatsbürgerschaft für Filipinos und diskutierten die Anliegen des Publikums aus Filipinos, Deutschen und Philippinisch-Deutschen.

Am 5. Februar 2025 schloss Philnetz eine Spendenaktion zur Unterstützung der Umsetzung des Sonderpädagogik-Programms (SPED) der Polillo Central Elementary School auf der philippinischen Insel Polillo ab und überwies insgesamt 1.000 Euro an Spenden an die SPED-Lehrkräfte der Schule. Am selben Tag hielt Philnetz ein Online-Meeting mit den SPED-Lehrkräften Melvyn Calleja und Alberta Rigodon ab. Philnetz erhielt die Dokumentation der SPED-Aktivitäten und den Finanzbericht am 3. April 2025 von Herrn Calleja.

Im Jahr 2024 organisierte Philnetz am 21. und 22. September in Bonn eine Konferenz zum Thema „Herausforderungen und Chancen bei der Integration philippinischer Pflegekräfte in Deutschland“. Es war die erste philippinische Konferenz in Deutschland, die sich mit den Bedürfnissen der in Deutschland tätigen philippinischen Pflegekräfte befasste. Für diese Konferenz und ihre Folgeaktivitäten arbeitete Philnetz mit der Philippine Nurses Association Germany e.V. (PNAG) und der Filipino Nurses Association Germany e.V. (FNAG) zusammen. Weitere Informationen finden Sie auf der Konferenzseite. Grace Lugert Jose präsentierte die Konferenzerklärung auf der DKF-KDA-Tagung „Von 1960 bis Heute: Internationals in der Pflege“ am 21. Februar 2025 in Berlin. Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau stellte sie auch auf dem DRK-Wohlfahrtskongress am 26. März 2025 in Berlin vor.

Der von der Mercator Stiftung organisierte und für den 5. Juni 2025 geplante Mercator Roundtable „Gesundheit! Teilhabe im Pflegesektor“ wurde auf 

den 4. November 2025 verschoben. Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau wird an dem Treffen teilnehmen.

Zu den weiteren gemeinsamen Aktivitäten mit der FNAG gehörte eine Webinarreihe:

• Diskriminierung und Rassismus verstehen und Maßnahmen ergreifen – Ein Online-Workshop am 27. März 2025, moderiert von Cuso Ehrich, in dem die Teilnehmer Einblicke in Rassismus und diskriminierende Praktiken am Arbeitsplatz und darüber hinaus austauschten, die historischen Wurzeln des Rassismus und seine Auswirkungen auf das tägliche Leben untersuchten und kollektive Maßnahmen zur Bekämpfung erörterten. Philippinenbüro e.V. und Halo-Halo e.V. organisierten die Aktivität gemeinsam mit der FNAG und Philnetz.

• Bewertung der Rekrutierung philippinischer Pflegekräfte für Deutschland – Eine Online-Präsentation am 15. November 2024 von Dr. Myan Deveza-Grau, die Ergebnisse ihrer aktuellen Studie zur Rekrutierung und Integration philippinischer Pflegekräfte in Deutschland vorstellte.

• Trauma bei Beschäftigten im Gesundheitswesen – Ein Online-Informationsseminar am 4. November 2024 mit Dr. Diana Ramos Dehn, die die Auswirkungen von Traumata auf den Pflegeberuf erörterte, Bewältigungsstrategien untersuchte und die Bedeutung der Schaffung eines unterstützenden Umfelds für Betroffene hervorhob.
