If you want lightweight in-ear headphones with three ear-tip sizes, choose Philips SHE3590PP/28; if you need foldable, over-ear headphones for a shared 3.5 mm jack, choose KOMBIUDA 1pc. For nurses comparing simple wired options, my pick is Philips: its compact design is easier to carry, though neither model is wireless or has a microphone listed.
• Philips SHE3590PP/28’s biggest strength: small in-ear drivers, three ear-cap sizes, and a 1.2-meter cable. Trade-off: it is wired and has no microphone listed.
• KOMBIUDA 1pc’s biggest strength: foldable, cushioned over-ear design with a 3.5 mm connection. Trade-off: it is bulkier to wear and carry than an in-ear pair.
• Philips lists a frequency response of 20–20,000 Hz; KOMBIUDA lists 20–100 kHz. Those figures describe different ranges, but alone they don’t establish which one sounds better.
• Both connect through a 3.5 mm jack and have a 1.2-meter cable. Neither product’s listed features include Bluetooth or a microphone.
• Choose Philips if compact fit, interchangeable tips, and a snug in-ear design matter most; choose KOMBIUDA if you prefer cushioned over-ear headphones that fold for storage.
Philips is the more compact option here. Its small in-ear drivers and oval-shaped inserts are intended to sit snugly, and the package includes three ear-cap sizes, from small to large. That range gives you some flexibility to find a more secure fit rather than relying on one fixed tip size. The design is particularly relevant for nurses who want wired headphones that take up little space in a pocket or bag between shifts.
The listed audio details include dynamic drivers, a 20–20,000 Hz frequency response, 16-ohm impedance, and a 3.5 mm connector. Philips describes the fit as helping seal out outside noise; that is a passive effect of the snug ear tips, not a claim that these are wireless or that they use a separate noise-canceling system. A soft-rubber section at the cable connection is intended to protect that point from repeated bending.

KOMBIUDA takes the opposite approach: it is an over-ear headset with soft cushioning and a foldable design. Its plastic construction and listed weight of 72 grams make it a lightweight headset on paper, while the folding arms are intended to make it easier to store and carry. If in-ear buds feel uncomfortable to you, this larger design may be a better match for listening at home, while traveling, or at a desk.
It connects through a 3.5 mm jack and has a 1.2-meter cable. The product information lists a 30 mm driver, a 32-ohm figure, and a frequency-response range of 20–100 kHz. It is described as offering stereo sound, but the published figures do not tell the whole story of how it will sound to an individual listener. The listing also specifies no microphone, so it should not be treated as a headset for voice calls.
KOMBIUDA is the more logical pick if you want foldable, cushioned headphones for a compatible phone, tablet, or computer with a 3.5 mm connection. For nurses, it could fit occasional listening during personal time if an over-ear style is preferred. Skip it if you want something discreet, pocket-sized, or suitable for work calls; its over-ear frame is a less compact carry than Philips’s buds, and it is wired too.
• Best for a compact pocket or work bag → Philips SHE3590PP/28. Its small in-ear form is simpler to stow than an over-ear headset.
• Best for choosing an ear-tip fit → Philips SHE3590PP/28. It includes three interchangeable caps in small, medium, and large sizes.
• Best for cushioned over-ear listening → KOMBIUDA 1pc. Its soft-cushioned ear pieces cover the ears rather than sitting inside them.
• Best for folding away between uses → KOMBIUDA 1pc. Its foldable frame is a practical advantage for storage and travel.
• Best for nurses seeking a lightweight wired option to carry → Philips SHE3590PP/28. Its tiny in-ear design is the more compact choice; both models have a 1.2-meter cable.
• Best for a larger listed driver → KOMBIUDA 1pc. Its specification gives a 30 mm driver, while Philips describes small in-ear drivers. Driver size alone does not prove better sound.
• Best for a snug in-ear fit that helps block outside noise → Philips SHE3590PP/28. Its product information emphasizes the close fit of the ear tips.
• Best for calls with a built-in mic → Neither. KOMBIUDA explicitly lists no microphone, and Philips’s listed features do not specify one.
These are both wired headphones, which is an important distinction for anyone searching for neckband headphones for nurses. Neither has a neckband, and neither lists Bluetooth. Their shared 3.5 mm connector makes them relevant only if the device you plan to use has a compatible jack. If it does not, the basic connection described for these products will not meet that need.
The comfort choice is personal, but the designs point in different directions. Philips depends on finding an ear tip that fits securely; the three included sizes give you options, though some listeners simply dislike in-ear buds. KOMBIUDA avoids inserting anything into the ear canal, but its padded over-ear style takes up more space. The foldable frame helps with storage, not with making it as small as Philips when worn or packed.
Neither product should be mistaken for a work communications headset based on the available details. KOMBIUDA specifically has no microphone, and a microphone is not specified for Philips either. For listening, both offer a wired route to compatible devices. For calls, confirm that your existing setup provides the microphone you need rather than assuming the headphones include one.
I’d choose Philips SHE3590PP/28 for nurses who want a compact wired pair and can use a 3.5 mm jack. Its small in-ear design, three tip sizes, and cable-connection protection make it the more practical carry for that use. I’d choose KOMBIUDA only if cushioned, foldable over-ear headphones are the priority. Neither is the right pick if Bluetooth or a built-in microphone is essential.
No. Both are described as wired headphones with a 3.5 mm connection. Neither product’s listed features specify Bluetooth, so shoppers seeking wireless Bluetooth headphones for nurses should look for a different type of product.
The answer depends on whether you prefer in-ear or over-ear headphones. Philips offers three ear-cap sizes and a small in-ear design; KOMBIUDA has soft cushioning around an over-ear fit. The specifications do not establish which will feel more comfortable for every listener.
Which has better noise reduction?
KOMBIUDA explicitly lists no microphone. Philips’s listed details do not specify one, either. If taking calls is essential, check for a model that clearly includes a microphone rather than relying on either of these as a call headset.
