On Stemonitis sp.- Dormant for Years
During the time that this Stemonitis sp. appeared it occupied moderately a lot of ground space. Almost 8 meters of the ground length and 2.5 meters by width. With such a population, it could even be seen "growing" in living vines, dead leaves and dead pieces of wood. I have been waiting for years [6 years- see the date of the photos in https below] for this Stemonitis sp. to exhibit the same phenomenon but this never occurred. I have been inspecting to see if a small population has thrived in the same ground but unfortunately there was none. So, here are the photos of this remarkable Stemonitis sp. and hoping that one day it will appear with such remarkable growth:
