Employment/Academic Affiliations
Since 2012, I have been a professor of economics at the University of Rostock, Chair of Microeconomics.
In addition, I am a research affiliate at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (2013–present) and a research affiliate / fellow
at CESifo Munich (2012–present) and I have been a visiting scholar at Lund University on many occasions.
Education
I did my Phd at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics, hold an MSc (Major Economics) from Lund University, a BSc (Vordiploim) in Economics from Kiel University, and a BSc (Vordiplom) in Mathemtics from Bonn University. While finding my preferred subject(s), I also obtained some minor accademic certificates in Physics, Astronomy, Chemestry, Language Stuides and Philosophy of Science.

Regarding my personal background, I was born in Kiel (what feels like a long time ago) and grew up in Kiel and Osnabrück in Germany.
