The team structure below is included for direction and planning purposes only. The actual team composition should ultimately be determined by the organization based on its existing internal capabilities, priorities, resources and operational structure.
This framework may be relevant to both SMEs and larger corporations, although the number of people, level of expertise and degree of involvement required will naturally differ. An SME may combine several responsibilities into one or two roles, while a larger corporation may already have dedicated departments handling many of these functions.

How I Would Fit Into the Team
My role would not necessarily be to personally perform every function listed above.
My involvement would be focused on providing the strategy, research, direction, systems, coordination, oversight and optimisation required to bring the different parts together.
Where the organization already has capable employees, I can work with the existing team. Where there are gaps, the organization can recruit or contract the appropriate specialists.
The team could therefore be structured in one of two ways:
Existing team → I provide direction, strategy & oversight
or
Organization recruits the required specialists → I guide, coordinate & optimise the team
The objective is to avoid creating the expectation that one person should simultaneously be the strategist, developer, designer, marketer, salesperson, analyst, community manager and customer-support representative.
Good results require the right resources and the right people working together.
The team listed here is therefore not a mandatory hiring list or a claim about what every company must have. It is simply a practical framework to help the organization identify where responsibilities may need to sit and where additional expertise may be required.
The right strategy + the right people + the right resources = a much stronger foundation for sustainable growth.
