ABOUT Philip Henkin

Neurosurgery was not Dr. Henkin's first career choice. In 1985, he graduated from MIT with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Henkin was an International Engineering Consultant for a few years before deciding to go back to school to become a physician. Henkin In 1991, he graduated from Ohio State University with a medical degree. The esteemed Duke University Medical Center, where he did his surgical residency from 1991 to 1998, was his final resting place.


Brandon, Florida, and Ruskin, Florida, are the locations of Henken Neurosurgery AP's two branches. Brandon Regional Hospital, South Bay Hospital, South Florida Baptist Hospital, HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, St. Vincent's Medical Center, and Doctors Hospital of Sarasota are just a few of the many hospitals he's connected to.


As a result, Dr. Henkin's practice is notable for its emphasis on evidence-based, results oriented care decisions, rather than fad procedures. For this reason, the clinic of Dr. Henkin takes Medicare's copayment in full in this high-retirement state.
