On the weekend of May 4-5, 2019, two remembrance events to honor Phil Solomon's passing were held in Boulder, Colorado.

The first was a private brunch for family and friends at the Koenig Alumni Center on the CU Boulder campus on Saturday, May 4, 2019. This was a chance for those people to gather, talk, and share stories abut their relationships with Phil.

The second was a public event sponsored by the CU Department of Cinema Studies & Moving Image Arts, held at the ATLAS Center on campus on the evening of Sunday, May 5, 2019. This featured a screening of some of Phil's films, which he had chosen for the event, followed by testimonials from some of his colleagues and students.

The people who spoke at these two events have given their permission for their remarks to be shared with the PSP community.
