About Us
Phi Delta Epsilon is a co-ed international medical fraternity founded by Aaron Brown and fellow Jewish students at Cornell Medical College in 1904. Today, there are 81 pre-medical chapters and 101 medical chapters of PhiDE. Our motto is "Facta Non Verba, Deeds Not Words," our colors are royal purple and ivory caduceus, and our flower is the scarlet red carnation.
UVA's chapter was founded back in 2017 and we have since had 13 successful rush classes. PhiDE at UVA consists of dedicated, passionate students aspiring to matriculate to medical school upon graduation. We aim to foster a supportive community with educational resources to assist our members on their journey to medical school.
