A huge THANK YOU to everyone who was able to attend or contribute to the event on the 8th! This was the 2nd event of its kind we have thrown for all the Phi Sigs who live in the KC Region and I couldn't be more DAMN PROUD of the turnout, but more importantly the fact that the intra-chapter camaraderie of our Great Fraternity was on full display! I truly believe we have something special happening for Phi Sigs in the Kansas City Region and it is because you all keep showing up. We fully intend to continue hosting monthly happy hours (mark your calendar now for March 14th - location TBD so look at your inbox for a future email). We are considering a few other more family oriented get-togethers (email me if you have ideas).
We will definitely do the Founders' Event again next year! Between those who made it and those who supported remotely, there were nearly 90 Brothers, Lil Sisters, Spouses, and Guests representing 8 Phi Sig Chapters who contributed to this event!! Let's beat that next year by telling everyone who couldn't make it they better put it on the calendar, haha.
Cheers to the Brothers who won the raffle prizes; Dave Costello won the Chiefs Tickets, Micheal Haynes won the Bison Meat Package, Matthew Couslon won the Aerial Tour of KCMO as well as the Blackstone Griddle (which he donated to UCM Undergrads), and Aaron Windsor won the 150th Special Edition Phi Sig Bourbon. Thank you to Brothers Nathan Goldstein, Jackson Wells, David Costello, Sheldon Smith, and The Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation (respectively) for those donations to this event!
We will announce very soon the dollar amounts we raised for the CEFs in the Region...so, keep an eye out for future communication regarding these.

What did we raise money for?
Each Chapter in our Region has a Chapter Education Fund (CEF) with The Phi Sigma Kappa Foundation. Donations to this fund are tax-deductable and the money raised will be restricted to help pay for YOUR undergrads to attend Nationally Sponsored Educational Programing (Officer School, Leadership School, et al). Your donation will ensure YOUR Undergrad Brothers get the training needed to successfully run YOUR Chapter (imagine how great not having those expenses would have been when we were undergrads). It's a WIN-WIN-WIN!!!
