Counselor corner

Welcome! My name is Amanda Jenson and I am one of the school counselors at Providence Hall Elementary. Currently, I work with students in kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grades. I have the privilege of working with our students through classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling.  I also collaborate with school staff and parents in order to best meet the needs of students. Hello, everyone!  My name is Kristen Leininger, and I'm the other counselor at Providence Hall Elementary!  I have the opportunity to meet with students individually, in small groups, and come to classrooms to teach Social Skills lessons.  My main goal as a counselor is to help students feel emotionally healthy and successful in school.  I do this through collaborating with teachers, administration, parents, and students to make goals and accommodations to help students feel successful.  I'm excited to have this website as a resource to share information and ideas with you all!
