Hi, I'm Courtney Phelps! I love photography and shoot a wide range of personal and commission work.

I am a professional photographer based in Wood River, IL. Concert photography is my main focus in photography, but I also enjoy doing portraits, weddings, senior photos, engagements, family photos, and other events. I travel to St. Louis, MO to shoot shows at the local venues and the local St. Louis scene. I have been doing photography as a whole for 5 plus years and concert photography for 4 years. I love learning new things in photography and growing as a young aspiring photographer. My self portrait work expresses emotions stemming from traumatic experiences. I make my artwork very personal to me so I can connect to it more and really be able to portray the hard emotions accurately in my work. When working on my self-portraits I bring up real, raw, and deep emotions that I have buried within myself so the pieces are very raw and real. I enjoy doing self-portraits because I can portray the emotions that I want my viewers to feel more accurately.
