1st PhD Macro Workshop at UZH

About the Workshop

On September 12-13, 2022 the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich is hosting the 1st PhD Macro Workshop. The workshop is organised by PhD students and aims to foster interdisciplinary and interdepartmental interactions among PhD and post-doctoral students.

The topic chosen for the first edition of the workshop is Imperfect Competition in Macroeconomics.

The workshop consists of paper presentations followed by a discussion led by a PhD or postdoc. The workshop also features two keynote speeches and informal networking opportunities. Precise information about the workshop schedule can be found here.

Travel and accommodation expenses up to specified limits will be reimbursed thanks to generous funding by the UZH Graduate Campus.

CALL FOR PAPERS

PhD and post-doctoral students interested in participating should send a full paper, or extended abstract, by the new deadline of July 31, 2022 (midnight, GMT) to the following email address: phdmacroworkshop@econ.uzh.ch

All applicants will be notified of the decision by August 7, 2022.
